White Low-Slope Roofing over a Plywood Roof Deck
Project Overview
This project is documented through a closely matched pair of rooftop views: an exposed plywood deck with materials staged for installation, followed by a continuous white roof covering extending across the field and up the perimeter. A large rectangular rooftop equipment enclosure, two small blue fittings, the parapet layout, and the distant buildings remain in corresponding positions in both images. The pair provides a clear view of the construction change. In the preparation photograph, the plywood panels and their joints remain visible across the roof and along the raised perimeter. In the later photograph, those surfaces are covered by the white roofing assembly, including the vertical faces around the roof edge and the base of the equipment enclosure.
Analysis
The roof has a large rectangular equipment enclosure on one side, a raised perimeter, and two pairs of small blue fittings in the open field. The plywood stage exposes both the deck and the perimeter substrate, while the later stage shows the white covering continuing around those changes of plane. The equipment enclosure creates the most prominent curb detail in the set.
Process
The preparation view records the plywood deck with packaged materials and rolled products staged toward the far end. In the later view, white covering spans the field, extends up the parapets, and wraps the base of the equipment enclosure. The camera positions are closely matched. The roof outline, blue fittings, equipment base, and distant buildings remain aligned, allowing the change in surface to be followed across almost the full photographed area.
Outcome
The later-stage roof presents a continuous white surface across the field and perimeter. The equipment base is integrated visually with the same covering, replacing the exposed wood appearance seen during preparation. The matched photographs provide a direct record of that transformation across the main roof and its raised edges.
